A Family-Friendly KCAR event for a good cause!

KCAR is partnering with The Murphey School for this event! It's a Sock Hop, so bring socks and wear your most fun pair- or a costume for prizes! Any donations will go directly to the Murphey School.

Needs List:

  • Towels and wash clothes - All sizes
  • Any kitchen goods - pots, pans, towels, hard plastic cups/bowls/plates
  • Twin size blankets, comforters, sheets, pillow cases
  • Trash cans for smaller rooms
  • Laundry baskets
  • Desk lamps
  • Toiletries - body wash, shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, shaving supplies
  • Large towels for when they participate at the YMCA pool
  • Luggage
  • Sporting equipment - football, soccer, lacrosse, field hockey, softball/baseball, basketball

Please remember that the Murphey's School has 8 buildings and transition up to 23 years of age.

Event Details and Rules:

Join us for Cosmic Bowling with a Sock Hop Theme! As long as each bowling team has one (1) KCAR Member, you can bowl. An additional costume contest will also be going on for Best Themed Team! Each team that participates in themed costumes will be entered to win! You can get creative with your themes as long as they're related to the event: Cosmic, Sock Hop, 50's, fun socks, etc. The Sponsors will be judging the costumes throughout the night and we will award a winner at the end.  

Tickets are $20 for each player and $80 per team of four. Six people per lane maximum, 2 spectators. Additional spectators will need to be seated behind the lanes for safety. Registrants will be checked at the door and given wristbands. This event will be closed to walk-ins and anyone without a wristband will be charged spectator pricing. Family members and children are welcome, within the attendees' limits. We will provide coloring items for children, at Spectator pricing ($10) with no drink tickets. Do keep in mind that other participants will be drinking. 

2 Drink tickets per player will be included for soda, juice, beer, or wine. Cash bar for cocktails and other drinks. 

Spectator pricing is $10, with no drink tickets. 

Outside sponsors are welcome! Come showcase your business between lanes and meet lots of locals within the Real Estate industry.
